Sportshall

The Sportshall League began in 2001. Four separate team competitions are held for girls and boys in the Under 11 and Under 13 age groups. ‘Grand Prix’ competitions are held for Under 15 girls and Under 15 boys.

We actively encourage new teams to join the league and will accommodate as many teams as can be managed, within the time constraints. Based on their performances in county competitions, athletes are selected to represent Hampshire in the South-East Regional Finals.

The winning team in each age group at the Under 13 and Under 15 South East Regional finals, and occasionally a well-performing runner-up, will be invited to take part in the UK Finals.

There is also a “Fun in Athletics” competition for Under 11 athletes between counties in the region, but no national event.
