I apologise that, due a slip of the mouse, a small number of athletes were inadvertently transferred to Guernsey AC in the Championship programme and initially in the results on this website. All errors have now been corrected, so apologies to Thomas Hockley, Lucy Odell and Callum Taylor (Harrow AC), and Dylan Arnott, William Avery, Craig Berryman, Hattie Bond, Matthew Childs, Josie-Rose Dobson and Alex Fitzpatrick (all Havant AC).
We are pleased to advise that Hampshire Athletics has obtained a UK Athletics Level 2 licence for our Championships in May 2023, together with World Athletics affiliation. This enables athlete performances during our County Championships to gain ranking points for such as international competition.

Attention all track athletes
Just to advise all track athletes that during the Track & Field Championships, the Starters will be using an electronic system to start all races.
Speakers will be placed close to all of the athletes starting each race so that a clear, but less noisy, electronic sound can be heard by all.
Stuart Horsewood,
Track & Field Championship Secretary
Athlete registration
All entrants for these Championships must be registered with England Athletics (or another National Association). You can check whether your registration is renewed for the 2023-24 season on the England Athletics website.
It is therefore important that competing athletes ensure they are up to date with payment of their club subscriptions and that, when due, their 'club subs' are renewed promptly so that their England Athletics athlete registration fee can be paid.
So far as the Track & Field Championships are concerned, the registrations of all athletes entering the Championships will be checked. It will be helpful and save time if you can specify your England Athletics registration number on your entry form, but this is not essential - your entry will be checked anyway.
You will be informed if you aren't registered or your registration is out of date, in which case please ensure that you are correctly registered before the championships.
PLEASE NOTE: As it is not possible for an individual to register with England Athletics other than through an affiliated club, no unattached athletes can be accepted in the Championships. However, we can accept entries from unattached athletes studying at schools and colleges which are affiliated to Hampshire Schools' AA - please write the name of your school or college in the Club box instead.
UKA Anti-Doping Policy
"An entrant shall be deemed to have made him/herself/their self, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.
"The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the date of entry, whether or not the licence holder is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK."
The UKA Anti-Doping code can be found on the UKA website here and/or the EA website here.
