ESAA National Cross-Country Championships 2014
15 March at Donington Park, Leicestershire

Hampshire Schools had a great day at the ESAA Cross Country Championships with both Junior and Intermediate Boys picking up the team winners' trophies and Senior Boys ending up 4th. Hampshire took the overall Boys Aggregate Trophy.

In the Girls the Juniors were 6th, Inters 13th and Seniors were 5th.

In addition four athletes earned their International Vests to represent England in the forthcoming Home Countries International:- Zak Mahamed, Mo Mahamed, Josie Czura and Maddie Deadman so congratulations to all of them.

Key results as follows:-

  • Junior Boys - Zak Mahamed (6th), Robbie Coupland (14th) and Ted Yeates (26th)
  • Inter Boys - Mo Mahamed (4th), Jake Cvetkovic (11th), George Butler (15th) and Ethan Bevis(39th)
  • Senior Boys -Stuart McCallum (14th), Stephen Simpson (20th) and Toby Starling (45th)
  • Junior Girls - Josie Czura (2nd), Maddie Deadman (4th), Elizabeth Hedley(25th)
  • Inter Girls - Lucy Wildash (45th)
  • Senior Girls - Eloise Milbourn (20th), Charlotte Chalwin (28th), Rebecca Howard (34th)
