The Hampshire teams for the SEAA Inter-Counties Championships have been announced.

The championships will be held on 8 December 2012 at Claybury, Woodford, Essex, IG8 8NG.

Directions

Hampshire will have a flag this year so David should be easier to find and will, if allowed, set up a tent near to the start. Please aim to arrive at least 1 hour before your start time. This will give you plenty of time to collect your number from David and then have a recce of the course before your warm up. The course is suitable for spikes, the Metropolitan league run here and they describe the course as follows:
"Set in beautiful parkland this venue is very popular. The various courses are predominately made of undulating paths of grass and usually hard soil in open areas for easy spectating in many locations. There is a small wooded section which is where the main climb of the venue is located. The whole course is suitable for spikes however trainers are a good option if the ground is hard which it tends to be at Claybury."

It's worth noting that postcode IG8 8NG will take you to the course, however IG8 8AA will take you to Ashton Playing Fields Clubhouse where there is parking for 150 cars and toilets in the clubhouse. I think there are no toilets at the course which is 600 metres away on Roding Lane North (see map - download below). The attached letter also gives walking directions from Woodford station if travelling by train.
